Professional Life

Today I learned that my contract is finally coming to an end at my job. After a little over two and a half years, I’ll be unemployed going into the holidays and new year. While I am sad, I am also remaining hopeful and optimistic about the future and opportunities that lay ahead. To a degree, I am also grateful that this wasn’t a surprise; I knew it was coming and have been planning for it for quite some time. For now though, just going to focus on the immediate present and take it one day, one week, and one month at a time until I’m ready to focus on what’s next.
