Another NFL Sunday, but this time the Patriots played and destroyed the Steelers. You love to see it! Plus, at least as of right now my fantasy team is winning and that just feels serendipitous.

Although my blog is coming together, it’s still quite a mess. The past few days have been constant in-the-moment observations of “oh, gotta fix this!” and “how did I miss that?”. Generally, all very scatterbrained.

I think this weekend’s goal needs to be: make a list of everything, prioritize it, and set aside some dedicated time to just jam on it all.

Slowly but surely…

My “Watch Later” list on YouTube grows by 4-8+ hours of videos per day and even when I open YouTube when I do have a moment to watch I end up just watching one of the top 5 or so recommended videos (which luckily usually pull from that Watch Later list). Maybe it’s time for a purge (or maybe a very long binge watch session to clear it out)…

I feel like there just isn’t an episode of Ted Lasso that doesn’t get me teary-eyed if not actually shedding some real tears. This latest season is emotionally beautiful, and every time I watch I just feel whole again; such a therapeutic show.

Diablo IV releases on the Switch 2 today and I am (im)patiently awaiting it to go live on the Nintendo eShop. Apparently 12:30PM ET is the time from what I’ve heard, but that will not stop me from refreshing every 15-20 minutes.

I was unironically super invested in BlizzCon this weekend. For many months I’ve been anticipating Diablo IV coming to the Switch 2, and all signs were pointing to Saturday for them to finally reveal it (which, did happen!), but I ended up staying for many of the other announcements.

I’ll have to write a longer form summary of my thoughts in-full sometime later this week, however the reveals around World of Warcraft: Forever and related modern-day WoW now have me back on Windows updating Battle.net and WoW.

It might finally be time for me to get back into an MMO obsession… uh oh.

It’s the formal start to the NFL season today. Although the Patriots already played (and lost… 😭) a few days ago, I am SO ready to start spending my Sundays watching football and to witness my fantasy teams do… alright. First game we’re watching today is Falcons vs Steelers; rooting for Jaylen Warren as I have him in my primary league. Unsure what matchups we’re watching afterwards, but should be a fun day!

Just made some updates to the blog here on WordPress and slowly setting things up. Hopefully nothing breaks, but I am excited to be making some changes. I am also now paying to host this blog (mostly for a few extra features and storage), which is a fun exciting step. Maybe spending money on this will encourage me to keep up with writing… sometimes that helps.

Related to switching to Kagi and Linux, I’ve booted up Windows for the first time in a week since switching to CachyOS (it’s a Destiny 2 raid night) and boy am I already missing an OS that doesn’t yell at me to change my default browser, search engine, show ads in my task bar, and whatever else just to play a game.
